First post...

I love spring! This week was the first real week of sunshine and warmth. Paul and I have been sitting out on our little balcony trying to soak up as much sun as possible! It is a funny thing living in Northern Germany. During the winter you feel as though the sun just peaces out and all there is gray sky for 6 months. But then one day...its back and more glorious than ever. I have a new found love for our grandest star...and its Creator! It reminds me of the verse in Malachi that says "...the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings..." I love that verse...such a unique picture of Jesus and how glorious He is. Our bright and morning star!

Soooo, my husband has this weird obsession with finding the perfect cookie jar. And last week we were in a home store in the city and came across "The One."   He was immediately convinced this was the cookie jar he had been searching for his whole life. Paul begins, "It's clear...so it shows the delicious cookies inside! It also has an air tight seal which would keep them fresh. And it's only 3 euro! This is it!" I know this sounds dramatic but I am absolutely telling the truth. lol  So, needless to say we bought it and I baked some lovely white chocolate macadamia nut cookies for its initiation!


And yesterday I went with my British friend Brook to see the movie The Kings Speech.What an amazing story! Great film and great acting. Overall it was one of the better movies I have seen in a long time. And Brook and I both agreed that the wallpaper in that movie was fantastic...we both want to buy some like that now! Loved it!
